The Story Goes Off Script When the Singing Duel Begins

This work is a spin-off of the 1965 Shaw Brothers film The Love Eterne.

The story follows Hu Sanbao, a transmigrator who wants to avoid the disgraceful fate of the original plot, where he fails to steal someone else's wife and ends up banging a large gong in front of her bridal sedan. When he competes with Song Yulan in a singing match to win her hand, he cuts off Li Chunyang's lyrics and sings over him, winning Song Yulan's heart outright and sparking a series of disputes.
