I Am the Heavenly Dao's Chessmaster: A Thousand Years of Daily Check-Ins

Jiang Wangchen transmigrates to an immortal cultivation world and, through a twist of fate, becomes a disciple of the Celestial Dao Sect, leader of the hidden sects.

Unfortunately, his talent and constitution are unimpressive. Though blessed with good fortune, he struggles to enter the immortal sect.

Luckily, at a critical moment, he awakens the Check-In System. By watching from the sidelines and checking in at special locations or grand events, he can earn astonishing rewards.

He checks in while watching the famous scene of the demonic path besieging the mountain gate and receives the cultivation method Purple Extremes Five Elements Scripture.

He checks in while watching the Celestial Dao Sect Master ascend to heaven in broad daylight and receives the supreme treasure, the Xuanhuang Exquisite Pagoda.

At last, a thousand years later, Jiang Wangchen has mastered the Dao and lies drunk among the clouds, gazing down upon all living things.

But when he tries to take the next step, he discovers there are no more special locations or major events where he can check in...

"In that case, I'll use cultivators as chess pieces and manipulate the rise and fall of the immortal, demonic, fiendish, and Buddhist paths to create famous scenes."

An idea strikes Jiang Wangchen. He casually plucks a thread of karma hidden in the void and smiles serenely.

And so begins the path of cultivation...
