Blue Star: Launch Me Out of the Milky Way!

Antigravity engines are the most powerful engines in the universe. With one, you can travel among the stars at will.

Yet their principles and properties are extraordinarily simple. Almost any life-form with a civilization can easily discover them, after which all technological development goes toward creating and upgrading antigravity engines.

As a result, the aliens who have mastered antigravity engines are not very advanced technologically. Their weapons are primitive, and they have only just learned to harness electricity.

Yet they continue their endless attacks on other planets in the universe that have also mastered antigravity engines. After all, those planets have the same level of technology as they do.

Until one day...

An imperial scout ship discovered a blue planet in the Solar System.
