The Human Emperor Rules the World: I, Di Xin, Stir Up the Storm in Tang Dynasty's Immortal Martial World

After the Calamity of the Investiture of the Gods, the Yin-Shang dynasty fell. On the Investiture Platform, Jiang Ziya took up the Investiture List and appointed the Thirty-Six Heavenly Stars and the Seventy-Two Earthly Fiends.

"King Zhou, Di Xin, step forward and hear your investiture."

"You were the ruler of the former dynasty and held the fortune of the human race and the heavens. As the Human Emperor, you were foolish and tyrannical, offending Nuwa, the Mother of the Earth, and slaughtering countless innocent lives. You should have been cast into the Eighteen Levels of Hell after death, never to be reincarnated."

"Yet the Heavenly Venerable is merciful and pities you for unifying the Four Seas. Though you have committed wrongs, you have also performed good deeds."

"Today, by the decree of the Heavenly Venerable Yuanshi, I, Jiang Ziya, take charge of the Investiture List and appoint you the Heavenly Happiness Star. May you bring abundant blessings to all living beings."

On the Investiture Platform, Di Xin's eyes were bloodshot, and his fists clenched tight.

"Heh, the Heavenly Happiness Star? The Heavenly Venerable Yuanshi is truly so merciful! Does he want me to become a lackey of the Heavenly Court too?"

"Di Xin, how dare you!" Jiang Ziya shouted angrily.

"Foolish and tyrannical? You only say that because you all wanted to escape the Calamity of the Investiture of the Gods by sacrificing my people..."
