Great Tang: I'll Come Clean, I Did It All

"Did you hear? General Cheng recited a poem, 'Bring in the Wine,' and left everyone stunned."

"General Cheng is truly a master strategist. The army is unstoppable thanks to the map he presented. He deserves the greatest credit."

"Heh, I heard His Majesty drank the wine General Cheng sent him and stayed drunk for three days."

"General Cheng is a genius in both letters and arms. He invented something called gunpowder, and we won a great victory with a surprise attack on Goguryeo in just three days!"

"General Cheng is a lucky star for the Tang. I heard he presented something that yields seven or eight dan per mu."

In Chang'an, Cheng Yaojin's fame grew greater by the day.

At last, one day, Cheng Yaojin came to his five-year-old son, Cheng Chubi, with a tearful face. "B-Bao, save me! I got drunk and boasted to His Majesty that I could fly."

Cheng Chubi gave his troublemaking father a speechless look.

He went to the Ganlu Hall and faced Li Shimin. "Fine, I'll come clean. I did all those things."
