Honghuang: I, King of Hell, Rebel Against Heaven and Crown Myself Emperor

Wang Zheng transmigrated into the Underworld as King Yama. He thought a dull life of interrogating ghosts awaited him, but then he activated the "Lifelong Rebellion System."

As long as life lasts, rebellion never stops. Under the System's heavy-handed demands, Wang Zheng could only raise his arms and shout:

"As of today, I declare the Underworld independent and in rebellion against the Heavenly Court."

"As of today, I proclaim myself emperor."

And so, Wang Zheng became the first supreme Yan Emperor in the history of the Three Realms.

"How dare a mere King Yama presume to call himself emperor? Do you think I don't exist?" roared the Great Emperor Fengdu.

"Amitabha. I shall not become a Buddha until hell is empty!" The Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha decided to act and quell King Yama's rebellion.

"Whoever destroys the traitorous King Yama shall be rewarded with the entire Underworld," said the Jade Emperor, his face livid.

After the calamity of Journey to the West,

and countless forces of the Primordial World were dragged into it once more...
