Great Tang: My Wife Helps Me Rule the Great Tang from the Start

Li Cheng transmigrates to the Zhenguan era and lives a carefree, reclusive life with his beloved wife in the outskirts of Chang'an.

But his wife is always doing good deeds in his name, and it drives him crazy!

Wife: Husband, I taught the villagers how to grow your corn and sweet potatoes. They really admire you!

Li Cheng: I'm speechless. Teach them if you want, but could you please stop using my name? Keeping up an image is exhausting!

Wife: Husband, I wrote down the tactics for fighting the Turks that you taught me and sent them to the army at the front in your name. We won, and now His Majesty is searching everywhere for you to give you a high-ranking post!

Li Cheng: How many times have I told you not to saddle me with this kind of nonsense!

Wife: Husband, every outstanding man needs three wives and four concubines. I found a runaway bride in Chang'an. She looks like a refined young lady, so she would be perfect as your concubine.

Li Cheng: Isn't that just playing matchmaker without asking either of us?

Wife: Husband, since you refuse to live under someone else's thumb, I'll take some people and crack Li Er's skull right away...
