Honghuang: I Encounter a God of Light on the Journey to the West

Before chaos split the heavens and earth, all was formless and unseen.

The world appeared as though woven from brocade, and the vast primordial age stretched back countless millennia!

In the autumn of the thirteenth year of the Zhenguan era, Emperor Taizong of the Great Tang sent his sworn brother, Xuanzang, on his journey, dispatching six imperial guards to escort him. But at Shuangcha Ridge, they ran into a tiger demon. They would have been doomed if Liu Boqin, the Mountain Guardian from nearby, had not come to their aid.

Just then, the sky changed. A hymn of praise rang out across the heavens, and Miaoyang appeared before Tang Seng, after spending a million years playing a single-player game.

Since ancient times, three has represented the greatest number, five completion, seven change, and nine supremacy. The tiger demon, meant to be the seventh tribulation of the Journey to the West, was instantly slain by Miaoyang. The Heavenly Dao immediately designated him as the new tribulation, but no one knew what had happened.
