You Kicked Me Out of the City, and Now You Want Me to Protect You?

On the first day after transmigrating, Qin Lin learns that his father has died in battle and the people of Dragon City have driven him out. The reason: the Qin family has consumed too many resources over the past few centuries.

How is he supposed to survive outside the city in a world crawling with monsters?

Just then, Qin Lin is summoned to the Abyss. His grandfather, who guards the Abyss, is nearing the end of his life. He passes his dragon avatar on to Qin Lin and makes him swear that he will guard the Abyss forever, as long as he is a citizen of Dragon City.

Delighted to have gained the dragon avatar, Qin Lin laughs heartily. "I'm not a citizen of Dragon City anymore!"

With that, Qin Lin summons forth the dragon avatar.

At once, countless powerful monsters crawl out of the Abyss. The people of Dragon City are slaughtered, and they bitterly regret their actions, begging Qin Lin to return.

Qin Lin: "You drove me out of the city, and now you expect me to protect you? Dream on!"
