You Demolished My Ghost-Suppressing Tower, and You Still Expect Me to Save You?

At sixteen, Tang Lin took on the duty of guarding the Ghost-Suppressing Pagoda. Every day, he risked his life to slay the evil ghosts escaping from the abyss, lest they damage the formation and let demons and monsters invade.

Because the pagoda stood in a scenic development zone, it was slated for demolition. When Tang Lin refused,

the man who had quietly protected humanity all along was immediately vilified online.

The villagers even dug up his master's grave and burned his remains.

They went so far as to stir up a mass petition demanding the pagoda's demolition.

On the day demolition began, demonic energy poured out. Those who had preached righteousness were corrupted by it and transformed into bloodthirsty demons.

Countless people wept and begged Tang Lin to be magnanimous, forgive them, and save humanity.

Tang Lin threw into the demonic energy everyone who had urged him to be magnanimous and begged him to save them.

And to those keyboard warriors who said they didn't care about me, but still spoke on my behalf and told me to be magnanimous: I hope I see you again. I hope you're still human.
