You Destroyed My Dragon-Subduing Temple, and Now You Want Me to Save You?

Amid the much-anticipated redevelopment of the shantytown district in downtown Su City, there stands a dilapidated little temple called Dragon-Subduing Temple.

In front of the temple is a bridge pier engraved with a golden dragon. Along with the temple, it looks completely out of place at the demolition site.

Negotiations over the demolition have dragged on for more than three months, but the monks at Dragon-Subduing Temple still refuse to agree. They have even trended several times, earning the title of the year's toughest holdouts.

For three months, they have been showered with mockery and scorn. Nobody knows that the online rumors calling it superstition are true: the Dragon-Subduing Pillar was erected a hundred years ago by a sage who had attained the Dao.

So the developers brought the media and various relevant agencies to forcibly demolish the pillar.

The moment the Dragon-Subduing Pillar was destroyed, demonic energy surged into the sky. In just a few breaths, many people were reduced to piles of bones. Everyone who had supported the forced demolition now believed in the pillar's power, and they begged the monks to save them.

The monk sighed. "I gave you a chance. You were the ones..."
