The Plot Has Fallen in Battle

My awful roommate showed me a book and said there was a female supporting character in it with exactly the same name as me and exactly the same personality. I said I wasn't interested, but she insisted I read it, saying I would die horribly in the end.

Excuse me?

I die horribly, so I have to read about how I die in the book? Is there something wrong with her?

But she recommended it to me again and again, and I couldn't withstand the pressure, so I reluctantly started reading.

After finishing it, I wanted to hit someone. Hey, don't move. If you're going to take a beating, stand still and take it.
