I don't know where to begin. After reading so many novels about the Three Kingdoms, I've always had a wish in my heart to write something similar. I don't know what inspired it, but I just want to write one. Maybe it's because the people and events of an era I love didn't unfold as beautifully as I hoped. History can't be relived, but I want to use my imagination to write the Three Kingdoms era as I envision it, letting that history unfold in my fictional setting as beautifully as I wish it had.
To be honest, I'm a complete novice when it comes to Three Kingdoms history. I've never really studied it. I don't think what I write will be a power fantasy or a literary masterpiece. Maybe it'll simply depict the Three Kingdoms as I imagine it. Besides, I read Three Kingdoms novels myself, and I know countless authors have already written works in this genre. It's probably a subject that's been done to death. But I still want to give it a try...
