I Guarded the Tomb in Silence for a Thousand Years, but the Experts Ignored Me and Dug Up the Mausoleum of the First Emperor

Transmigrating a thousand years into the past, Wang Quan becomes a Taoist priest and, with the help of a System, rapidly rises to become the founding patriarch of the Taoist sect.

For a thousand years, he guards the Mausoleum of the First Emperor alone. Not to prevent grave robbers from stealing its treasures, but because hidden within the mausoleum is a legendary formation: the Zhang Sheng Boils the Sea Grand Formation.

Once the tomb is opened, the formation will be revealed to the world, reviving the hundreds of thousands of wronged souls inside the Mausoleum of the First Emperor. The ghost of the Ancestral Dragon will lead an army of demons to turn the mortal world into a living hell.

Then, a thousand years later, the government claims to have found a way to preserve the burial objects. Ignoring all warnings, it excavates the Mausoleum of the First Emperor.

As a result, the tomb is breached and the formation activated. Hundreds of thousands of ghosts become demons and return to the world, swiftly turning it into a living hell.

Only then do the people who ignored the warnings finally remember: perhaps only Wang Quan, the Taoist Patriarch, can save us!
