Great Tang: I Saw Through Li Er's Identity from the Start

After transmigrating to the Tang Dynasty, Liu Che, the third son of Liu Wenjing, a founding meritorious official, went into hiding to pursue his revenge.

His System activated, and his beginner's gift pack was generous, but it came with a strange task: he had to rebel to claim more rewards.

One day, three merchants calling themselves Old Li, Old Fang, and Old Sun came to the village.

Liu Che recognized them as the trio of Li Er, Fang Xuanling, and Changsun Wuji. Pretending not to know who they were, he gradually lured Li Er into his trap.

So, a successful northern campaign against the Turks earned Li Er's trust, making fine salt won his admiration, and reforming the imperial examinations made Li Er unable to do without him.

After various policies were implemented to the detriment of the great clans, they were driven to rebel.

Li Er: "I'll come clean. I'm the emperor. Come out of hiding and help me!"

Liu Che: "Sorry, but I was the one who started this movement."
