Super Sweet: Everyday Life with My Childhood Friend

This is a single-heroine, sugary slice-of-life story. Readers with low blood sugar, come on in.

Childhood friends: a familiar trope that gets relentlessly abused in all kinds of anime.

The idea that childhood friends can never beat a girl who shows up later seems to have become common knowledge.

But Su Yu and Ye Yun, childhood friends who like their quiet yet enviable everyday life, are here to face-slap that conventional wisdom.

Ye Yun: "Yu, yesterday I learned what the most delicious dish in the world is. Guess what it is?"

Su Yu: "There's no need to guess. The most delicious dish in the world is whatever Xiao Yun cooks herself."

Ye Yun: "Yu, if I left home one day, how would you find me?"

Su Yu: "Why would I need to look for you? The day you leave home is the day you come to my side. Since you'll be by my side, why would I need to find you?"

Ye Yun: "Yu..."

Su Yu: "Don't say another word. It's almost time to exchange our vows."
