Journey to the West: The Junior Disciple of the Jie Sect

Lin Meng transmigrates into the Primordial World and becomes a wisp of innate pure energy.

Unable to take human form for a long time, he happens to receive help from the Heavenly Lord of the Primordial Beginning and succeeds in attaining a physical form and the Dao.

He becomes a disciple of the Heavenly Lord of the Primordial Beginning, the youngest junior brother of the Jie Sect and the master's final disciple.

He is bestowed the Purple Lightning Hammer, an innate spiritual treasure of immense power.

Everything is going well. After settling in, Lin Meng follows the Heavenly Lord of the Primordial Beginning's instructions and goes into seclusion.

Several hundred years later, the Investiture of the Gods War is over. The Chan Sect is sharpening its swords, hunting down the remnants of the Jie Sect and monopolizing the fortune of the Daoist sects.

The West is riding high, founding Spirit Mountain, spreading Buddhism, and beginning to plot the Journey to the West.

Lin Meng emerges from seclusion and finds himself standing on the desolate Golden Ao Island, speechless.

"I just went into seclusion. You're telling me the sect is gone?"
