I Fell in Love with My Future Self

In 1990, I was born in the 21st-century city of Shanghai.

I'm a rent-collecting couch potato who only likes petite girls dressed in JK uniforms.

Weighing over 230 pounds, I lie back in my custom-made chair and calmly listen to that familiar, enticing message: "...received, 100,000 yuan!"

I raise my chubby fingers to adjust my black-rimmed glasses and stammer, too afraid to move, "Is anyone there? ... Is anyone there?"

For a long while, there's nothing but my own breathing.

I squeeze my eyes shut and quietly chant, "Amitabha, Amitabha, Amitabha..."

But in the distance, there's a fair-skinned woman dressed in a cat costume, with pale skin and a curvy figure.

At that moment, I wish I could open my eyes and take a few more looks.

The woman says, "You..."
