On the Eve of My Wedding, Princess Gaoyang Dumped Me

After transmigrating into Changsun Chong, he gets picked up by Princess Gaoyang while dead drunk on the very same day!

Seeing Princess Gaoyang constantly clinging to Changsun Chong, Princess Changle flies into a rage. "Gaoyang, Cousin Chong was chosen by Father and Mother as my consort. We are engaged, so there's no way you can steal him from me!"

Princess Gaoyang sneers. "Heh. Changsun Chong and I have already become husband and wife in all but name. Otherwise, why do you think Father canceled my engagement to Fang Yiai? Since ancient times, there has never been a precedent for two princesses to marry the same consort. So, Sister Lizhi, I am going to take your consort!"

As Li Lizhi weeps before him, Changsun Wugou whispers in Li Shimin's ear, trying to sway him: "Second Brother, why not set a precedent and betroth both Lizhi and Gaoyang to Chong'er?"

Li Shimin first leaps up in a fury, slamming the table. Then he falls silent. After a long while, he finally says slowly, "If he can solve the locust plague for me, then the Empress's suggestion might be acceptable."
