Reborn as an Empress

The protagonist is a woman living in the modern world, with a doctorate in every field. On her way home, she was struck by lightning and became a low-ranking palace consort. She wants to become empress because, as empress, she can hold on to everything she cherishes and keep it from being taken away. She can protect herself, protect her child, and... stay by his side. This is a road with no turning back. One step backward means utter ruin.
