This Is Ridiculous! You Want Me to Be an Evil Spirit General?

Divine beasts and strange creatures such as the Phoenix, the Thunder Emperor, the Qilin, and the God-Smiting Stone danced through the air.

Some were majestic and imposing.

Others radiated murderous intent.

"Lucky child, we've awakened. We're here."

"We are the Ten Primordial Fiends, and now we're your guardian spirits. Ten Fiendish Guardian Spirits, the really ferocious kind."

"True Dragon Guardian Spirit: Gifted you one drop of True Dragon Divine Essence, taking your spiritual power straight to the Scorching Heat Realm."

"Phoenix Guardian Spirit: Gifted you one Golden Phoenix Heavenly Flame, capable of burning all things in the world."

"Qilin Guardian Spirit: Gifted you one pair of Eight Desolations Purple Lightning Gauntlets, with ten times the output."

"Thunder Emperor Guardian Spirit: Gifted you the Thunder Emperor's treasured art, the Thunder Emperor Finger."

Lin Feng realized he was about to make it big.

"Wait, why are you making me go become a fiendish general? That's ridiculous. I'm only eight years old, I'm still a kid!"
