Mythic Revival: I Know This Buddha

A billion years later, Earth entered the era of demonic beasts. All races vied for supremacy, and the strong ruled.

As demonic beasts and foreign races swept across the land, humanity, weak as it was, came perilously close to extinction.

Fortunately, countless enormous stone statues soon appeared throughout the world.

The statues came in all shapes and forms.

Some had dignified, stern faces; others looked compassionate and merciful. Some stood astride fierce tigers, while others held dragons in their hands.

After studying them, humanity made an astonishing discovery: these statues all depicted deities from ancient Buddhism.

As long as people called out a deity's name and offered their faith, they could gain that deity's power.

Thus, the names of countless Vajras, Buddhas, and bodhisattvas and their mounts were invoked by humanity. Countless powerful figures appeared across the world to protect humankind.

But no one knew that, just then, a transmigrator from a billion years in the past named Shen Fei had arrived in this world.
