Honghuang: Shen Gongbao Refuses to Confer Godhood!

Yuanshi Tianzun: "Shen Gongbao, why aren't you taking part in the Investiture of the Gods this time?"

Shen Gongbao replied respectfully, "Master! This disciple's cultivation is shallow. I wish to devote myself to cultivation on Kunlun Mountain and serve you tea and water. For such an important undertaking as the Investiture of the Gods, Junior Brother Jiang is far more suited to it than I am."

Guangchengzi: "Junior Brother Shen, the Investiture of the Gods offers great opportunities. Why not go down the mountain and give it a try? Perhaps the Great Dao will be within your reach!"

Shen Gongbao: "Senior Brother, I know my blessings are limited. Rather than go down the mountain to take part in the Investiture of the Gods, I'd rather seek immortality and the Dao here. Please leave such an opportunity to you, my senior brothers!"

Everyone at the Jade Void Palace wanted to trick Shen Gongbao into going down the mountain to take part in the Investiture of the Gods, but no matter what they tried, Shen Gongbao wouldn't be swayed. He refused to set foot beyond Kunlun Mountain.

Jiang Ziya knelt before the Jade Void Palace with a bitter expression. "Senior Brother Shen, please go down the mountain and take part in the Investiture of the Gods! The Western Qi army has already reached Chaoge City, and not a single Jie Sect Disciple has made the list yet!"

Vice Patriarch Randeng: "Shen Gongbao, if you won't take part..."
