The Merchant King of the Tang Dynasty

A brilliant finance student unexpectedly travels to the late Zhenguan era and becomes Li Yuanguang, the sixteenth younger brother of Li Shimin. He arrives just as an age of grand ambitions is unfolding, but misses out on its most glorious tide. Taking life as it comes, he sets himself a modest goal: to use his expertise to make the Tang Dynasty the wealthiest nation in history. Things do not go as planned! Li Shimin's glorious era soon passes, and the age of High Tang begins. Emperor Gaozong Li Zhi and the empress Wu Zetian gradually take center stage in history. Is Li Zhi incompetent? Is Wu Zetian a mighty ruler? Amid turbulent power struggles and carefully plotted reforms to eliminate corruption, a man who should never have appeared in history turns the tides as he faces the torrent of history.
