The Taoist Priest Who Walks Among Men

Many years ago, this humble Daoist wrote "Green Jade Table: Lantern Festival Eve" and only then realized that everyone here was so full of feeling.

One year, I passed a city wall and heard the tragic tale of the intertwined branches. Such is the power of love: it makes people pledge their lives to one another.

Once, beneath the moon, I held my pipa alone and played a song of my own longing. But longing is useless!

I remember one year, I sang a song by chance, and all under heaven shared in its sorrow. The Flower Goddess served as matchmaker, and I became their vessel, ferrying a pair of ill-fated lovers together through the years.

Through the years, I have seen bloodthirsty men and compassionate souls. They are not so different after all.

I am Weisheng, also known as Yuan Jin. I once slew gods and demons because they preyed upon people. I also once destroyed time itself because it stood between me and finding her.

I wander the mortal world in search of stories. What about you?
