The Dream Guest

She stood silently on the riverbank as the autumn wind whipped across her face. At some point, tears like pearls began streaming down her cheeks... On the banks of the Ruoshui River, they were separated by life and death, her innermost thoughts impossible to express. She believed the illusory scenes in her dreams were real. After a drunken night spent laughing like a madwoman, she saw off her guest in white, sending him to the far side of the world. They met again at the ends of the earth, but she had not heard the sound of his flute in so long. One song left her face streaked with tears.

Twelve years ago, he burned down her manor and stole a sword, killing her husband and drowning her son. Who could have guessed that twelve years later, she would become the obsession he could never fulfill?

She has endured humiliation for the sake of her husband and son, living her entire life for revenge. Will she get what she wishes for?
