The Light of Evolution

On the night of January 21** in 2080, every family and every person was celebrating the New Year.

At 8 p.m., a radiant light illuminated the night sky, bright as day, falling like rain.

After this extraordinary shower of light, all was silent. Then terrifying roars, screams of terror, and cries rang out. Horrific things were happening everywhere.

The sun rose as usual. The lucky survivors looked at the streets full of walking corpses and were overcome with deep fear.
