Journey to the West: From the Start, I Became a Night Watchman

When Li Ping'an wakes up, he discovers that he has become a night watchman in Chang'an City during the Great Tang.

At first, he wants to use his historical knowledge to get close to Li Er and put his knowledge of the next thousand years to good use, earning himself a title of nobility or a high official post.

But this Great Tang isn't quite the one he knows.

The enormous Chang'an City is under attack by monsters.

Yuchi Gong and Qin Qiong are actually Door Gods.

A whole den of dragons lives in the Jing River outside Chang'an City.

The Great Sage Equal to Heaven imprisoned beneath Two Realms Mountain is a hero praised by everyone in Chang'an City.

A little bald boy named Jiang Liuer wants to learn martial arts from him. He wants to become a night watchman too, and fight demons.

This world has gods, ghosts, monsters, and Buddhas, and the Journey to the West is about to begin!
