The Wandering Holy Spirit

A vast family wandered across the interstellar battlefields. After tens of thousands of years of warfare, they had won glory, but death had come with it. Their numbers dwindled, and the family gradually fell into decline. The pride of their former days turned to ashes. With no choice but to leave the stars in order to survive, they came to a continent inhabited by humans. There, like raindrops falling into the sea, they blended into the world, while the past was gradually shrouded in the dust of time.
