Great Tang: Please, Just Become the Top Scholar

After transmigrating to the Tang Dynasty, Ye Han becomes a poor scholar.

Just as Li Shimin ascends the throne, the emperor holds the first imperial examination, and Ye Han activates a System when he sits for the exam.

But to receive the beginner's reward, he has to answer the questions exactly as the System instructs.

With no other choice, Ye Han writes the System's bizarre answers on his exam paper.

Agriculture: "How to grow potatoes..."

Policy essay: "How to weaken the vassal nobility and eliminate the Five Great Clans..."

Warfare: "How to use gunpowder and hot air balloons..."

After the exams end, Ye Han returns to his estate, fully aware that he has no chance of passing.

But from then on, a middle-aged man calling himself "Old Li" often visits an estate somewhere in Chang'an.

Every now and then, he asks Ye Han about the art of governance and shamelessly discusses major matters of state with him.

At last, the middle-aged man waves his hand and says, "I'll come clean. I am Li Shimin, the emperor! Ye Han, come with me..."
