X: Apocalypse Chronicles

Zeng Zhengdong is an ace agent for Dongguo. During a chance mission, he tracks down a mysterious organization called "Dark Angel," which develops super soldiers and mutants. But the files he obtains and hands over to his country become the starting point of a mysterious apocalypse.

The shadow of extinction falls over this lost planet. In the post-apocalyptic world, humanity establishes settlements to fight against mutants, monsters, and the complexities of human nature. Everyone must fight to survive, and fight for themselves as well.

The catastrophe is both a disaster and an opportunity. There is more than one path to survival, and countless forms of evolution vie to flourish. Can those who rise above the natural order through a series of chance encounters shoulder the burden of their people's survival?
