Great Tang: Minister of the Court of Judicial Review, I Put Li Er on Trial from the Start

In the second year of the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty.

Li Mu transmigrates into this world and inherits the post of Minister of the Court of Justice, one of the Nine Ministers, activating the Trial System.

On his first day at court, he puts the emperor on trial, then tries Empress Zhangsun. The civil and military officials stare in disbelief, trembling with fear, while Li Er is left utterly bewildered and shocked, frozen like a statue.

Li Mu: "The emperor is subject to the same laws as commoners! Surely Your Majesty knows that?"

Li Er: "Please, try one more criminal for me. Once you're done, I'll arrange a marriage between you and Princess Changle!"

Li Mu: "I'll think about it!"

One day, Li Er sighs to Wei Zheng, "With Li Mu around, the Tang Dynasty will never again have a wrongful conviction. He solves cases swiftly, and his judgments are well-reasoned and supported by evidence. He truly is the incorruptible magistrate of the Tang Dynasty."
