Huayang Yue Liu Ge

Across the vast world, nations rose one after another. One nation made its home beside the azure sea, and so it was called Cang.

Cang established its capital at Canglan. In the ninth year of Emperor Xuancheng's reign, demons and specters ran rampant, wreaking havoc and tormenting the people. The nation fell into misery, the feudal lords rebelled, and Cang descended into chaos. The emperor therefore dispatched three thousand elite cavalry to a distant land to seek a hundred spirit beasts and offer them at the Hall of Pingyang. Only then did the turmoil subside. Later generations called this the "Revolt of the Hundred Demons."
