Showbiz: I Retired for Five Years, and Returned as the King of Heaven

In a parallel-world Hong Kong, Shen Xing pioneered nonsensical comedy.

But the entertainment industry in this world was half a century behind, and the traditional film industry never accepted him.

Time and again, the media reported that his movies were lowbrow trash.

The film industry even restricted films of this kind, leaving their box office returns dismal.

Disheartened, Shen Xing decided to retire.

Five years passed in the blink of an eye. When he returned, he found the country's film market had been unified, and the internet age had begun!

Entertainment industries of every kind were flourishing, and more and more audiences were starting to love Hong Kong-style comedy!

To make up for the regret he had carried for five years, Shen Xing decided to finish the sequel to A Chinese Odyssey.

A pack of unscrupulous media outlets and effeminate entertainers prepared to laugh at him.

But on the day the film premiered...

Audiences across the country walked into theaters chanting the same slogan:

"We all owe Star a movie ticket!"
