Great Tang: From the Start, I Tell Princess Changle the Journey to the West, Shocking Li Er

Ye Luochen transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty and opens a tavern. With time on his hands, he begins telling a young woman who often visits his shop the story of Journey to the West.

Unexpectedly, the story draws her father in as well. Whenever they chat, the man likes to ask all sorts of questions.

"What do you think of His Majesty?"

"What do you think could be improved about the current imperial examination system?"

"How do you think the Tang Dynasty should handle its relations with the Turks?"

"Brother Ye, do you really have no feelings for my daughter?"

Then one day, the young woman's father secretly tells him, "I'll come clean. I'm Li Shimin, the one who often visits your shop is my daughter, Princess Changle, and now I want to betroth her to you!"
