Urban: I Planted a Fairy from the Start

There is a secret garden in a temple in the remote mountains. The young Daoist Cheng Kong scatters a packet of seeds, and they can grow into anything you could never have imagined.

TV reporter: “Reverend Cheng Kong, we hear you keep a beauty hidden away in your temple. Have you been raising a fairy there?”

Cheng Kong said solemnly: “Infinite Heavenly Venerable, what utter nonsense. I, a humble Daoist, have no interest in women, so how could I be hiding a fairy?”

Worshippers: “Reverend, are there really demons and monsters in this world?”

Cheng Kong: “You should believe in science, friends. The land of China is clear and peaceful. Animals can’t become spirits, so how could demons and monsters run amok? Still, our temple sells protective talismans and magical implements for exorcising ghosts. They’re not 98, just 998, and they’ll keep you safe for life.”

“Also, our temple specializes in hard-to-treat ailments such as hair loss, baldness, infertility, and sterility. For details, please call our temple hotline.”
