Monsters Invade, So I Build Mechs to Protect My Country

Half a year before monsters invade, Chu Jinzhao proposes a mech defense plan to the authorities. It is approved, and he is appointed commander-in-chief!

The whole nation then pours its resources into building giant mechs and emergency shelters...

The media in other countries call Chu Jinzhao a traitor to the Dragon Nation and declare that the nation will no longer pose a threat.

Half a year later, monsters invade Earth. Other countries are caught completely off guard, suffering over a million deaths apiece and more than a trillion dollars in economic losses.

Piloting a mech, Chu Jinzhao kills the monsters with ease, while the Dragon Nation emerges without a scratch.

At that moment, the whole world finally understands: Chu Jinzhao was never a traitor to the Dragon Nation, but its guardian!
