He is the Buddhist heir of White Horse Temple, Dharma name Huixing, yet he is driven down the mountain.

It turns out this is a world of evil and heresy, where hell is empty and all its denizens walk the earth.

Zhen Rulai, who transmigrated here, holds out his alms bowl.

"Amitabha. Since I have accepted your vegetarian meal, benefactress, I must help you with your troubles."

"Amitabha. I see that you have a connection to the Buddha. Why not follow this old monk?"

"Amitabha. I would be delighted to recommend you to study Zen and seek enlightenment."

"Wicked demon, put that man down!"

In heaven and on earth, I alone reign supreme. When I, Huixing, ascend Spirit Mountain, the Buddha will return.
