Journey to the West: Take This Punch, Venerable Monk!

After transmigrating into the world of Journey to the West, he thought he would spend the rest of his life as a little novice monk, keeping company with an oil lamp and the ancient Buddha.

But just as the old abbot was on his deathbed, a System awakened within him, and he finally began a life of cheating his way to the top.

Xuan Zhen: Monster, take my fist!

Monster: Stay back! Take one more step and I'll smash myself to death right in front of you!

Xuan Zhen: Don't do that. How could I let you die on your own? I still need to earn experience from you. How about this: if you can take one punch from me, I'll spare your life?

And then... there was no then. The mountain collapsed, and out came a harmless-looking little monk.

Nobody knew that Xuan Zhen was the evil monk whose very name made monsters tremble.
