Three Kingdoms: Starting as Shui Jing's Disciple, I Stole Books and Set Out into the World

Before Hulao Pass, Zhang Fei pointed at Lu Bu from horseback and cursed, "You three-surnamed slave! Just wait, I'll poke a thousand holes in you!" As soon as the words left his mouth, a retainer standing behind Liu Bei on the city wall burst out laughing. His surname was Qi, his given name Ji, and his courtesy name Zuzong.

Qi Ji had once offered the Taiping Scripture to Zhang Jue, the Yellow Turban leader, devised a plot for Cao Cao to kill Bao Xin, and nearly sworn brotherhood with Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei at the Peach Garden in Zhuo County. Even the Seven Star Sword in the hands of Wang Yun, Minister over the Masses, had come into his possession thanks to him.

Qi Ji was handsome and dignified, yet behaved like a scoundrel. He studied under Sima Hui, Master Water Mirror, but was expelled from the school for stealing the Book of Great Accomplishment in his youth. He drifted through the wilderness afterward. Though he relied on his talent, he was far from carefree. He often bragged to street thugs, "All I have to do is wag my tongue, and a hundred thousand troops will vanish into thin air."
