The Immortal Son-in-Law of the Bandit Stronghold

Wang Xianzhi, a young Taoist priest, was scolded by his master for neglecting his proper duties and refusing to make quick money by exorcising corpses. He went into town to sell medicine, but bandits drugged and kidnapped him to their hideout. They forced him to marry Third Sister, the daughter of their boss, Old Chen. As it turned out, they were trying to save her.

But Wang Xianzhi was about to break through to the Heavenly Circuit System, and each time his cultivation level rose, Third Sister gained a few pounds.

If left unchecked, she would become so obese that she would die.

But if he saved Third Sister, Wang Xianzhi's strange affliction would flare up, leaving him unable to ascend to immortality.
