A disaster in 1850 caused worlds in different dimensions to collide, connect and penetrate each other. This disaster caused creatures from different worlds to live in one world. Magic and technology collided. Facing the threats from monsters from different worlds, a profession specifically designed to be hired to hunt monsters came into being - the demon hunter.
