28 Days of My Life and Death

This novel is written in the form of a memoir, which mainly shows an aspect of the self-defense counterattack against Vietnam in 1979. It focuses on border friction, smuggling across the Red River, thunderous attacks, retreating back to China, the bitter battle in Hoang Lien Mountain, running out of ammunition and food, being injured and captured, secretly escorted to Dien Bien Phu, successful escape from prison, life and death escape, bloody Burma, and return to the country. It depicts the iron-blooded image of a group of young soldiers, narrates the cruelty of war, and reveals people's desire for peace. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
