The protagonist, Bohr Kaos, is descended from the Adventurer King, one of the Ten Great Saints and Demons. A gifted child, he was only six when an accident occurred as he and his childhood friend Judy tried out a biological refinement ritual at home. They summoned a sliver of an ancient god's phantom. To protect Judy, Bohr willingly sacrificed one of his hands to the ancient god, and the two of them survived.
That experience also let them glimpse a sliver of the world's truth. Fortunately, they were children, so they were able to accept the truth of the world quickly. Thanks to that glimpse, they had both become great sages by the age of fifteen. By then, Bohr had become a shut-in, spending his days under the ID Black Goat on the academic monthly journal site, arguing with all sorts of people for fun. Judy, however, became the youngest department head at Saint Ivan Academy. Judy kept trying to invite Bohr to join the academy, but there was no way a shut-in would agree. That is, until Bohr's father lost the entire family fortune in an investment and disappeared. Bohr had no choice but to seek refuge with Judy and become a student in Saint Ivan Academy's Special Class One...
