I Rebuilt the Heavenly Court in the Modern Age

In the Age of Declining Dharma, the gods and Buddhas had been gone for a long time.

Every department in the Three Realms had ground to a halt.

Demons ran rampant, and all manner of ghosts and monsters occupied the mortal world.

The heavenly soldiers who were supposed to protect the Three Realms had been bought and sold as slaves by demons and monsters of every stripe.

Then Wang Meng arrived, having transmigrated into a heavenly soldier with no physical body.

The only way to regain his body was to earn the highest military rank.

So he could eat and drink well, and have a good time boasting and joking around, he fought desperately all the way, clearing out ghosts, wiping out evil demons, and cutting down rebels.

He fought his way up from the lowest rank to the second-highest, the twentieth rank.

All just to enjoy a single hot pot meal.

But the farther he went, the more the road stretched on...
