Honghuang: I Am the Ancestral Dragon, and I Will Defy Heaven!

After the ancient War of the Investiture of the Gods, the Human, Chan, and Jie Sects were all left badly battered. Buddhism flourished, and Haotian took control of the Heavenly Court!

After King Wu's campaign against King Zhou, Di Xin, the last human king, died in battle. The human race had no king ever again, and the ruler of the Great Zhou called himself the Son of Heaven!

The Son of Heaven: a child of Heaven!

The Great Zhou endured for more than eight hundred years before being destroyed by Qin. Then King Ying Zheng of Qin unified the six states, called himself the First Emperor, and took the title of Ancestral Dragon!

Ying Zheng: "Why do you gods and Buddhas sit high above all? I, who have achieved deeds for all eternity and am the greatest emperor of the ages, am merely called the Son of Heaven. I refuse to accept this!"

"I will change the color of Heaven and Earth, restore the throne of the Human Emperor, and claim all the lands of the Nine Provinces, so that our human race will no longer be pawns in your game, gods and Buddhas!"

Thus, a man bearing the destiny of unification, accompanied by a host of outstanding heroes, set out on a path against Heaven, marching upon the Heavenly Court and the Underworld!

Taibai Jinxing: "Your Majesty, this is bad! Ying Zheng is leading a host of human cultivators in an assault on the South Heaven Gate!"
