Journey to the West: I, Sanzang, Am Just a Nine-to-Five Pilgrim

After transmigrating into the world of Journey to the West, he becomes Tang Xuanzang and obtains the Nine-to-Five System. As long as he clocks in for work on time, he can grow stronger and obtain magical treasures!

So Xuanzang diligently clocks in for several years, finally gaining enough power to protect himself. Then the main story begins, and Guanyin Bodhisattva comes knocking!

Tang Xuanzang: Sorry, it’s after hours. I don’t discuss work.

With that, he punches Guanyin so hard she pales in fright.

Tathagata Buddha: I calculated with my fingers, but I can’t figure out why this is happening. Tang Sanzang is an unpredictable variable.

On the journey west, during work hours, Tang Sanzang is meek and timid. After hours, he strikes with crushing fists!

Sun Wukong: You might not believe this, but my master got captured during the day. Then, that night, when I went to rescue him with reinforcements, I saw a whole bunch of demon kings beaten black and blue, serving my master tea and water.

Zhu Bajie: That demon king wanted to eat my master, but ended up becoming my master instead...
