Great Tang: Daoist, Please Come Down from the Mountain

In the second year of the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty.

Outside Chang'an stands a Taoist temple.

Li Shimin visits every few days.

And every time he comes, the Taoist gives him a new reason to be amazed.

"Taoist Master, you can actually command beasts? The eagles in the sky and wolves on the ground obey you so completely?"

"Taoist Master, this plow is small and curved, and easy to use. Did you improve it?"

"This sweet and delicious food is called a sweet potato? And it yields a thousand jin per mu?"

"Refined salt? I never knew salt could be so fine! It's even finer than what we eat in the palace!"

"Taoist Master, the truth is, I'm Li Shimin, the emperor of the Tang Dynasty. Don't stay up here in the mountains. Come down with all this, and I'll grant you a lifetime of wealth and glory. What do you say?"
