My Hometown Was Demolished, and the Compensation Was the Earth

A satellite in the Milky Way's capital, where Li Kang's hometown was located, was demolished. The Milky Way Court compensated him with a new property: Earth.

"Star Lord, today we got the title deed to Golden Throne City back for you."

"Star Lord, tomorrow I'll start by securing the title deed to the entire African continent. The day after that, the Pacific Ocean."

As Li Kang watched the title deeds pour in, he said, "I was once an ambitious young man, and now I've become a landlord who just sits around waiting to die. Book me a plane ticket to America. They've been three days late on rent. If they don't pay up, tell them to move out."

America went mad. "The whole Earth belongs to you. Where are we supposed to move?"

"Landlord, please give us a few more days!"

"Let's kill him and rebel..."

Outer space. Trillions of spacecraft with flashing warning lights descended upon Earth.

"Who's rebelling?"

Li Kang: "I told you not to make me bring out the weapon of the law!"
