Journey to the West: I, Jiang Ziya, Refuse to Confer Godhood on Him

After transmigrating to the Investiture Platform, he becomes Jiang Ziya, the man charged with conferring the gods.

The Investiture War has just ended, and everyone is waiting for Jiang Ziya to preside over the investiture.

As the investiture nears its end, everyone looks on mockingly, believing that Jiang Ziya, the man who conferred the gods, has no chance of attaining enlightenment and can only enjoy the blessings of a mortal life.

The disciples of the Jie Sect wait until the investiture is over so they can restore their bodies and settle the score with Jiang Ziya.

The Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect are delighted that their disciples can attain divine positions, using them as pawns to meddle in the Heavenly Court and secure benefits for themselves.

The Sages of the myriad heavens breathe a sigh of relief, glad that the great calamity of the Investiture War is finally over and all worldly karmic burdens have vanished.

Jiang Ziya looks at the people around the Investiture Platform, each wearing a different expression, and calmly says:

"I, Jiang Ziya, will not confer the gods..."
